If you're going to sell it a price must be listed Wesley. This group isn't really for prospect selling. Emotional attachments to things tends to overvalue them and when prospected for sale can be bitterly disappointing that no one goes along with that overvaluation. Been there and done it.

After a lot of back and forth, I’ve decided to sell my Rivendell Atlantis. This is a hard one for me. I love this bike, and I never built it with the idea that I’d one day let it go.

It has been one of those special bikes that feels more like a companion than an object — the kind of bike that makes errands better, long rides calmer, and everyday life a little more beautiful.

This is a Toyo-built Atlantis, sold to me as a 61 cm frame. The seat tube measures 61 cm and the effective top tube measures about 58 cm.

For fit reference, I am 6'0" with a 95 cm PBH. The saddle height in the photos is set around 31", or about 78.7 cm, measured from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the saddle. The bike has fit me really well and has always felt spacious and comfortable.

It has been thoughtfully built and maintained by some of the best builders in Boulder and cared for every step of the way with a lot of love and intention.

It’s built with a really special mix of practical and high-end parts, including:

- Velocity Cliffhanger hand-built wheels
- SON dynamo hub
- SON Edelux II light
- Pass & Stow front rack
- Wald basket
- Realm basket bag
- Brooks Professional saddle
- Crust Towel Rack bars
- Brand new MSW cork bar tape
- Koma rear light
- Paul Touring Canti brakes

It’s not a museum piece, and I want to be honest about that — it has been ridden, enjoyed, and used the way a bike like this should be. But that’s also part of what makes it so good.

It’s a deeply loved, beautifully sorted Atlantis that is ready for many more years with the next person.

I’m selling because I have the opportunity to pursue something I’ve wanted for a long time and need to make room financially. That’s the only reason this bike is leaving my hands.

I’d really love for it to go to someone who understands what it is and will appreciate it the way I have.

Message me if seriously interested.

I’d like to edit it - sorry kind of new to the group. Is there a way to do that?

Gorgeous bike! It is listed on Craigslist, so I am guessing lack of price here was an oversight.

That's one of the features of the google groups structure, there's no editing our posts !

It's alright though Wesley, you have the price listed down the line of replies here and that's good enough !

"That's one of the features of the google groups structure, there's no editing our posts !"

I can't tell if Garth is making a joke here or not.  His comment is correct, and it's because Google Groups is at its core an email service.  You can't edit your post for the same reason you can't go and edit an email you've already sent to a few thousand people.  When you post on Google Groups you are sending an email to a few thousand people.  Once that email is sent, it is sent.  There is no un-sending it, and there is no editing it.  Many of the long time users ONLY interact with this group via their email client.

Yes Bill, making light of the limitation of this format. Stating the fact with a jolly smile.
I'm my own best comic, and audience....... ahahahahahahahaa !
I was going to suggest just making a another for sale message altogether, but I figured Wesley would realize that pretty quickly.

Yes I started a new one and asked the admin to delete this one. Sorry for the noise and confusion this caused.
