I contacted Simon Firth (formerly with Bilenky, now Firth & Wilson in Phila.) who is apparently "trained-at-Brooks" and authorized to do repairs on Brooks saddles in North America. But, he cannot get parts. The Cambium design allows for easy replacement of every part, but the Brooks website sells only the superstructure and not the tops.
I dare say all my leather Brooks predate the C15 and look to be on track to outlive me someday soon. While I am a leather saddle fan (5 Brooks in use currently) I have particular reasons for wanting to replace the old Cambium saddle with another.
My nether-regions would not allow me to use my old C15 for much more than 50-60 mile rides. So, I figure this might be a good chance to try a slightly wider Cambium, a C17, which Brooks says is the same width as a B17, in the hope that it will be a bit more comfy than the C15.
If anyone has purchased a C17 in the natural color and it did not suit you, respond here or send me a PM.
