Shimano V-Brake Mounting Bolts

I have some Shimano LX V-brakes that I would like to use but realized that I no longer have the mounting bolts. It doesn't look like this is an easy to grab part and I am confused by what people on the internet say works and doesn't work on the internet. Anyone know where to buy what will work?

The M6 threaded bolts with a shallow or rounded button kind of head. The length from Shimano states both 16mm and 25mm, front and rear I suppose.

Bike shops are out of a lot of things, but I can't imagine they don't have brake mounting bolts at any local shop. (But then, there's a lot of things about this latest bike boom I thought I'd never see, so...) I guess it depends how particular you are about the bolts you get. I'm sure the OEM bolts Shimano supplies (https://cambriabike.com/products/shimano-xt-m750-739-v-brake-mounting-bolt) could be a little rarer, but if you just need to mount the brakes, it should be pretty simple. (These Shimano bolts may be what Garth's link refers to, but I can't seem to get it to connect).

@Garth I dis manage to find one of the bolts and they match what that document says for 2 of the bolts. I would bet that either 16 or 25 would work for either the front or back depending on what I find. That should give me enough info.

@Rob for some reason the internet seems to think that there are Shimano specific bolts. I doubt that is true. The one that I found doesn't look anything like the one you posted as an official Shimano bolt and I know that his one came with the brakes.  Interesting.

Johnny, Aliexpress is a wonderful place to go for product photos that show things no other website shows, like the complete package contents including the BOLTS ! 


Surely not the XT ones. I saw these on the 'bay and look about right, M6x20mm rounded button head.
