My apologies for a previous post about this bike.

I tried to incorporate multiple pics on one email but my Yahoo email server would not permit. After 8 or so attempts I resorted to individual pics and messed up the subject line.

I'm using the free version and I suspect they are pushing users to be paid users of their services.

I need to find a better email service.

It's also possible I just don't know how to post multiple pictures properly.

Anyway, aside from that frustration this 1982 Trek 614 is a terrific riding bike.

I acquired it as a frame and fork only and built it up from wheels and parts I mostly had.

I did order the smooth tread Panaracer Gravel King tires in a 700x38 for it. They just clear the stays. I recommend these tires.

They are very smooth rolling, not heavy and obtainable at a reasonable cost.

The Trek brochures show the main triangle is built from Reynolds 531.

I'm out riding it again today.

My 3 or 4 year old Sam Hillborne is still my prime ride but with a limited budget these vintage Treks are pretty cool when set up for your likes.

Nice photos of interesting bike; thanks for sharing.

Most listers use Gmail which lets you attach multiple photos up to a certain generous size limit. As for Yahoo, I've not used it, but perhaps your photos were all files too big and, if reduced in size, might have been attachable?

Question for all: does a standard Google/Gmail account come with a certain amount of free cloud storage to which you can save photos and post links instead of attachments or, gawd 'elp us, huge files embedded in the text?
