Hi all! For sale is my Brooks B68 saddle, honey color - only ridden a few hundred miles and in great shape. I can't really get comfortable on it and am going to go back to a B17. Also open to trading it for a brown B17 in similar shape if you've got one.

Thanks!
Jonah

I'd be down to trade with you! Will have to go to storage later this week to get you some pics.

Best,

Hey IY - I went for a ride this morning and it actually felt a bit more comfortable... I'm gonna hang onto it and see if I can break it in.
Thanks!
Jonah

Hey Jonah,

Wouldn't it be amazing if you could actually test-ride all these seats before purchasing one?? I have B17s on a couple of bikes and like those, but when my wife got her Platypus, after trying one of my seats she thought maybe she could find something a little better and decided to go with the B68, based on what she read at various sites online. We both really like the shape of the saddle (wider) but were a bit surprised by how stiff it is and also that non-smooth surface that it has, as compared to the B17s I have. Like you, we are hoping it will break in, and are making sure to put plenty of Obenauf's on it to encourage that.  I wish you the best of luck with your B68 and would be glad to hear if it does indeed break in.

regards,

Chris Young
