There was an Instagram post showing that Riv has prototype samples of all sizes of RoadUno, inviting us to come test ride them.  I just emailed Will to find out if they really have a 57 ready to test ride for me.  Has anybody ridden one at RBWHQ?

I haven't seen numbers yet, but since they say "designed for swept bars" I'm going to take them at their word that I won't be putting drops on a RoadUno.  I think my urbanscorcher version of a RoadUno might have Riv Bullmoose bars.  What would you run?

either bullmoose bars, or run some North Road bars upside down...

If I wanted a standard drop type of experience I would go with Albastache. If I wanted the full sweptback experience the Losco and Choco bars are my favorite road sweptback bar.

I could pull my Albastache cockpit off my RB1 beater.  That's an option.  I did like the ChocoMoose that came on my Appaloosa, but I needed to slam it to get it low enough.  I'll have to look at the numbers...

My Chocomoose is currently installed on a 68cm Schwinn Traveler built into a single speed and kind of serving as a placeholder for a build I eventually hope to move over to a RoadUno... atleast the bars/inverse levers, and saddle.
I have mine currently slammed, though it's been adjusted at times between slammed and an inch or two of exposed quill and re-slammed again recently while fitting a basket.  The frame has a 62.5cm top tube ctc with 73deg parallel angles and honestly not sure how this would correlate or compare to whatever the largest RoadUno geomety will be but I'd anticipate a similarly slammed Chocomoose on my own build with Riv's tall headtubes and some extra standover with slope.

After trying a few different builds I'm really enjoying the uninterrupted grip using the inverse levers on the Chocomoose and definitely plan to try these first.

Dibs on the big one!!
If I manage to pick one up, I like the idea of the bullmoose. Currently have my Clem H set up with them and another set hanging from the rafters. Would love love love love a chocomoose with a little less rise, or a stachamoose...
Kinda hoping they're all tigged, but lugs'll do

If the RoadUno is designed for swept back bars, the Albastache would have too much reach for me. I find the ‘stache needs a bit shorter stem than even a drop bar.

Agreed. I am the same. I use a shorter stem for Albastache vs drops. So on a bike made for sweptbacks an Albastache would need a very short reach stem for me

I have bullhorn bars on my Wabi Classic single speed but it is built for that or drops with a short top tube. I could see using the Tosco bars with a long stem or maybe Wavie bars.

Will responded to my email, explaining my mistake.  I saw instagram photos of prototypes.  I mistakenly thought that meant Riv has them.  The builder has them.  Then they will be painted.  Then they will be shipped.  Then they will be assembled.  Then somebody can ride them.

I'll be patient...

I have on of those Scorchers.
It’s a really nice riding bike.
If you come across one, snag it.
