After a lot of back and forth, I’ve decided to sell my Rivendell Atlantis.
This is a hard one for me. I love this bike, and I never built it with the idea that I’d one day let it go. It has been one of those special bikes that feels more like a companion than an object — the kind of bike that makes errands better, long rides calmer, and everyday life a little more beautiful.
This is a Toyo-built Atlantis, sold to me as a 61 cm frame. The seat tube measures 61 cm and the top tube measures 58 cm. It has been thoughtfully built and maintained by some of the best builders in Boulder and cared for every step of the way with a lot of love and intention.
It’s built with a really special mix of practical and high-end parts, including:
- Velocity Cliffhanger hand-built wheels
- SON dynamo hub
- SON Edelux II light
- Pass & Stow front rack
- Wald basket
- Realm basket bag
- Brooks Professional saddle
- Crust Towel Rack bars
- brand new MSW cork bar tape
- Koma rear light
- Paul Touring Canti brakes
It’s not a museum piece, and I want to be honest about that — it has been ridden, enjoyed, and used the way a bike like this should be. But that’s also part of what makes it so good. It’s a deeply loved, beautifully sorted Atlantis that is ready for many more years with the next person.
I’m selling because I have the opportunity to pursue a long-pursued opportunity I need to make room for financially. That’s the only reason this bike is leaving my hands.
I’d really love for it to go to someone who understands what it is and will appreciate it the way I have.
Message me if seriously interested.
