I found that having the option of doing whatever color(s) I wanted was actually kind of paralyzing and took a lot of time..there's too many! I had a friend as a sounding board for ideas, which is similar to what this thread is..that was helpful. You may not end up with any color we recommend, but the ideas may expand your possibilities.
Looking at galleries of other paintjobs was the next step and this is how I settled on my colors. In my case I was focused on Joe Bell's work because he was my painter, but I recommend his site for anyone planning bike paint. I had noticed his work on Kirkframes' Instagram, then meandered over to joebell.net and founded entire galleries of Kirks. There's sooooo many to look at and it really helped me visualize what was possible. That particular direction may be even more helpful to you because your bike hews closer to the classic road bike look of Kirk's frames than mine does.
One thing to be cognizant of is those Quickbeam decals have a whole lotta cream and gold in them, they're not going to blend well with just any color. Green definitely works, I was always on the fence about the orange one, and once I saw yellow which I uhhh didn't get. Choose well and good luck!

I have a sage pea green sage All Rounder and really like it. I think it's a classic Riv look. I did always like the original Riv Silver blue metallic as well.

Hey Bunch,
Any thoughts or recommendations?

Greens and blues, metallic or flat, would be on my short list. No cream panels for me though. I quite liked the run of blue Hillbornes that missed the cream bits. The colour and the uniformity were attractive.
I also really like a bicycle in black. Surly's Long Haul Trucker in "Blacktackular" appeals to me.
Any colour you like will be right though.

There was a green "mistake" run like this around 2010-11, too..it reminded me of an early Porsche 911 color. I thought that solid no-cream green looked amazing.
I like green bikes and BRG especially, but imo lug lining detracts from the beauty of the lugs. I'd like the bike much more if it was a more simple paint job.
