What makes your Riv unique? My Appaloosa’s got this stem mounted Suntour power shifter with Chocomoose bars. The Suntour shifts my front triple quite well. They can be had on eBay for cheap. Mine are inverted so I get the power ratchet action, as the opposite is friction only. I love me some power ratchet.

For my bike, I got these bullet valve caps to match my headlight and taillight. 

For my wife’s bike, I got these Hello Kitty valve caps.

Not a great photo - a little hidden off to the left - but we're Chocomoose shifter twins!  My stem shifter is a friction-mode Microshift bar end on a thumb mount.  It's such a good spot for that front shifter.  Mine is just double, so I can just slam it back and forth.
