Hi Kiz-san,
Nice to meet you. I’m a Bunch newbie, and I’ve been riding a Rivendell for almost a year now.
Thank you for sharing such lovely Sunday photos.
Once the rainy season is over, I’m thinking about taking a blanket and going on a picnic ride too.
By the way, I really love step-through frames. Which Rivendell model is this one? If you don’t mind, I’d love to see a photo of the whole bike.

Hi all, This week, I rode out to a reservoir two prefectures away.
There were five Rivendells: a Platypus, Sam Hillborne, Clem Smith Jr., Gus Boots-Willsen, and Joe Appaloosa.

Along the way, we ran into some young riders in their twenties and had a great time taking photos together.

When we lined up all five long-wheelbase Rivendells, even a wide bridge wasn’t wide enough to fit them all side by side. It was quite a sight!

On the way home, I took a little detour to stop by Blue Lug and pick up the light mount I made at their recent brazing workshop, now finished with a clear coat. Brazing is delicate and very difficult, but it was a lot of fun and a wonderful experience.

The ride context in this photo is that we were out cycling last Friday and stopped when we heard the creaking of multiple Gang-gang Cockatoos (medium size parrots about a foot long head to tail) coming from a tree we had just passed under. I took a photo as we'd never seen so many males gathered together. There are eight in this photo and there were another two on the other side of the tree that I couldn't get into the field of view. The males have the red heads with the topknot and the females (of which there are two if you look carefully) are streaky grey with a pale red blush on the chest. Gang-gangs are now listed as a vulnerable species, as their population has decreased significantly due to habitat loss.I thought that the males looked rather like Christmas decorations placed in the tree.

Went for a suburban ride that turned into a foothills climb with some friends yesterday. On the way back down, my friend decided to take the creek crossing at full speed on his Gallop, just as I lay in wait to take a photo.Love how it turned out - the sprays of water are so cool!
