So it was recently brought to my attention that I completely failed to announce to the RBW any of the new ACW goodies that have been rolling through the store.

This list was the main source of revival for the ACW some years ago, and I feel silly I neglected to keep current. So much of the "social" interaction moved to IG that I followed suit. Weird thing is I'm on the RBW and IBOB lists everyday.

Anyway, there are some enamel mug goodie boxes, a couple different patches, some new stickers and buttons...and a painting or two.

So for those coffeeoutside types, and caffeine crazed cycling friends, go check it.

How could I not get in on this?! I wanted that moka pot painting, and there was gnashing of teeth when I saw the "sold out" note. Any chance you'll do more of these (or similar)?

Meanwhile, I'm going for the haz buttons.

Thanks for posting this,  Brad. Appropriating the “haz” design is awesome.

The ACW drip grate you did for the La Pavoni still makes me smile every morning. What size are the new mugs?

Aces on the drip plate! Only four of those in existence, and I have one of them!

The mugs are 12oz. with a little room to the top. Fits an aeropress perfect.

LOL! I'd be happy to do another moka pot painting. Matter of fact, the bike shop I've been at for 13 years just folded, so I have been giving serious thought to focusing on my painting more and putting them out there. Wasn't expecting to be unemployed as suddenly as it happened...kind of caught me off guard.

I was going to offer to mail you the moka pot painting for a six month loan, but you should just get a new one from Brad. It'll probably be even better. I couldn't check out fast enough when I saw that in his store.

Well, it was Quickdraw Philip that pulled the trigger first! Congratulations, buddy, and enjoy. I'm a Brad art fan, and plan to keep a closer eye on whatever he is inspired to do. Or maybe I'll resort to begging for something custom.

LOL, you guys are too much. Nobody beats Philips side hustle man, NOBODY!

As for custom, or commission, or whatever it's called...I had a lady contact me to do a painting of her old Braun drip maker. I'm not sure if it had some sort of sentimental meaning, as they were not markedly prestigious, or even terribly attractive. But because of their use as props in the original Blade Runner, I was well familiar with them, and actually had the exact model tucked away in my cabinets. She loved it, and I enjoyed doing it.

Doing the polished stainless moka pot was more or less a work up to do a larger painting of the La Pavoni Europiccola machine. It's ALL chrome and shiny...very intimidating subject. But I was super happy with the moka pot, so onwards right?!

Been wanting to revisit some bicycle watercolors. I did a painting for Jay Ritchey of his Hillborne, and a drum set for Jenny Klug a while back.

“Side hustle,” ha! I have a “hobby.”

The painting I got was the red one, not the chrome moka. That one is amazing. I’m glad the image is still in your store.
I recently mailed my Europiccola back to the friend who gave it to me 25+ years ago. It was broken then, and broken now, with a long life of espresso in between. Two switches and a full rebuild later, but now it has a short that blows the breakers, and Christopher Cara retired (I hope). My buddy was looking for an espresso machine and a project, and I want his daughter to take it to college in ten years.
