We have started receiving the following error for our instance of RavenDB since a few days ago:
"Auto-increment counter has reached maximum value (offline defrag WILL NOT be able to reclaim free/unused Auto-increment values)"

I've seen a similar issue reported several years ago but would like to ask, how can we get a  full stack trace of the error?

Also, other than exporting/replicating, is there any other alternative we could use to diagnose/correct this ?

Thanks in advance !
Kind regards,
Mihai

Hi

The underlying issue is running out of int32 range inside of RavenDB.
I'll need the full error from RavenDB (not just the client stack trace) to know what exactly caused it.
The typical way to handle that is to export/ import the database or to replicate the database.
This is a limitation only in the 3.x version and isn't applicable for 4.x

Please note RavenDB 3.x is out of support, we highly recommend upgrading to RavenDB 4.2.x
