Has anyone in this group used the GoJack G4107 for moving a glider around? There are videos out there but for powered airplanes with two or more wheels. I am wondering about how much effort is required to move a glider on the small GOJack caster wheels and a tail dolly. Can one person do it or does it take two?

I'm not sure which dolly model it was, but I have helped to move around a G103 that was on one of those style jacks with a tail dolly on. It still required two people to comfortably move it but it probably could be done with 1 in a pinch.

There was a post and responses about the Gojack not too long ago.

I use the gojack on a ~740lb 18m sailplane. IMHO, It’s not the effort to move the glider with one person that’s a challenge, it’s the steering. Every wheel, including the tail wheel casters.  I have to take it slow and change where I push from time to time if I’m doing it myself.  A second person doesn’t have to work hard at all make to a big difference steering.

Thank you,

We use the GoJack 4107 under the main wheel for our ASK21 with a homemade dolly under the tail for full motion. Two people needed to control the glider, not for the pushing. with a full castor tail, it is too easy for the glider to twist and clip a wing where you don't plan. Also if only one person attempting to maneuver the glider, i.e. push, its hard to stop it.
