Very sadly, due to health issues, my very dependable lawn maintenance man cannot do my lawns anymore.
He was so faithful in doing this for about 12 years. He also has excellent knowledge about plants/trees, and would offer
helpful advice. He had mentioned that a large maple tree at the edge of my property line- near the curb, was starting
to die, and needed to come down. He suggested I call the township, as because of its location, it should be covered financially
for them to do it. I called, and they sent someone to check it out. They removed it at no cost!
So, this is my situation.
I do not have a lawn mower - he would bring his own on his pick-up truck.
Years ago, I had an electric one, but that got to be a challenge with the long e extension cord from the garage, etc.,
so I donated it.
I would rather NOT get a gas mower - don't like the idea of having a lawn mower with gas stored in my garage.
( Although I realize I may have to purchase one....)
I really do NOT want to go through a 'company' (although I may have to).
I live alone, so I'm very careful and pray about any men who have to come for handyman/electrical or
related work.
I physically can't handle doing it by myself anymore.
I would rather pay someone from our group, or someone who is a recommended Christian and honorable person.
I live relatively close to Holy Family - in the development to the east of the Edgebrook Shopping Center,
(Highcrest and North Alpine Roads).
Please feel free to contact me via email, phone or text message. If I don't pick up your call, please feel free
to leave a detailed text message. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Josetta Burchardt
