Hi,
I would like to include RAPOSa in some of my benchmarks, but it keeps eating up all available memory as if there was a memory leak.
What is the problem?

Dear Hans,

Thanks a lot for your message. It would be nice to have RAPOSa included
in your benchmarks, but it may be a bit too early. We are currently
working on a new version of RAPOSa in which one of the main improvements
is precisely the memory management. If you do not mind, we would rather
finishing implementing and testing this new version before you
incorporate it into your benchmarks. We are not sure about how long this
will take, but we will write back to you when the new version is ready
and we can double check with you that the memory problems have been solved.

By the way, the current version of RAPOSa, on top of requiring
polynomial programming problems, also requires that all variables are
bounded, which limits a bit the instances that can be used from standard
tests sets, we hope you can have that in mind so that it is clear in the
reported results.

Best regards,
RAPOSa team.

OK, I am waiting,
Hans

P.S. Due to the memory leak the NEOS solver is not very useful. There is no way I would consider the current version.

Dear Hans,

We are glad to inform you that we have solved the memory problems in the current version of RAPOSa (2.0.0), which can be downloaded from http://www.itmati.com/RAPOSa/download.html . We would be grateful if you would include RAPOSa in your benchmarks. However the version of RAPOSa on NEOS server is out of date and it still has memory problems. We will contact NEOS in order to update RAPOSa, but we hope that you can use the version from our website in order to run your tests.

Sorry for having taken so long in contacting you again.

Best regards,
RAPOSa team
