Dave posted a tweet pointing to his Radio3 linkblog. I looked at it, liked it, poked around a bit and discovered I have one too! Apparently I had last used Radio3 to post to twitter in Feb 2015. I'm not sure I even noticed the linkblog home back then. I did put the linkblog feed into Feedly and it still works. But I'm getting strange behavior with the linkblog home. I open it in a new tab from Radio3 and I see "Last update:" and a date/time with the linkblog title below that, "Radio3: Ron Chester's Linkblog," but no content below the title. Blank! Same thing if I open a new tab, plop in the url for the linkblog [ http://radio3.io/users/W6AZ/ ] and hit enter.

Then I discovered that the content would suddenly fill in below the title if I waited long enough, like 40 secs or so. When I clicked on Dave's linkblog url, it came up with the title and content right away. Maybe mine is not doing that because it has been seven months since I last posted to it? I tried refreshing in the browser (Chrome on my Chromebook 2) but that didn't wake anything up. [Well maybe I didn't wait long enough.]

I opened several tabs from Radio3, each with my linkblog home in them and they all showed the content only after the long delay. I poked around in the docs, the settings, and such for a while, looking for some explanation for this, but found nothing. Then I clicked back on some of those open tabs and discovered the content had disappeared. They were back to showing only last update date/time and title! I clicked refresh on the browser and after a long wait (40 secs) the content reappeared.

I'm puzzled. Is there a fix for this?

I think the problem is it's been a very long time since you posted.

If you post something to your blog now, it might clear the problem.

A little additional data . . .

I discovered this delay is not unique to my linkblog home. I tried two other linkblog urls which I found in postings here.

Melody Kramer in her posting titled, "Radio3 links not appearing in link blog," gave the url: http://radio3.io/users/NPRFactoids/   I clicked on it, it showed the title and the content appeared below it in about 60 secs.

Thejesh GN in a posting titled, "My links are missing," gives the url: http://radio3.io/users/thej/   I clicked on it, it showed the title and the content appeared below it in about 80 secs.

Maybe this added info will help identify the cause.

Yes, I thought that might be it, but wanted to let you see it before I posted something. I just posted a new link, then clicked on my linkblog home and the new content appeared right away, along with the title. Then after a delay, the old postings filled in the page below the new one.

The other linkblogs (Melody Kramer & Thejesh GN) that I found with delays in the content appearing had also not posted in a long time. So it looks like posting regularly might keep the linkblog home current with content. I'll try it and watch how it goes. Thanks for your help and the tool.
