I've been spiffing up my river of news browser, and one of the things I did was bake in the bookmarklet, so it can post directly to Radio3 from the river.

You'll see a gray share icon on every post. Click it, and it'll open Radio3, ready to post the link to Twitter, Facebook and the RSS feed.

If you like getting the news in a river, give it a try, and if you like it, come back every day. ;-)

This new bookmarklet feels like a wake-up call to me, suggesting new practices of practical fast screening and publishing. Many thanks.

The RiverBrowser connects up a lot of the things you use Ken. There's a Fargo connection as well as a Radio3 connection. Keep digging, they're there. ;-)

I was looking for the gray share icon just now on a very interesting river item, and it didn't seem to be there. Nosing around, I saw the icon on the nearby items, but not on the one that happened to have a Twitter card image under the headline. So maybe the routine that includes the Twitter element sidesteps the routine that makes the placement of the share icon? Using Chrome here on a Mac. Or maybe I'm overlooking something right in front of my eyes?

I will attach two screen shots.

Yes -- you're finding a loose-end in a new bleeding-edge feature.

This stuff is going to have to settle in a bit before it's "bug free" -- which I put in quotes, because as we know there is no such thing. ;-)

All items in the river should now have share icons.
