Hello Dave,First, let me refer you to a YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrJSgFhS-acI was STUNNED, so I went to the FCC ULS system. There I found WNU's license as a Coastal Group station is still ACTIVE until August of 2033! The licensee is now:GLOBAL HFNET LLC777 S. Flagler Dr., Suite 602 EastWest Palm Beach, FL 33401ATTN Joseph Jacobs, Pres.It lists the Control Point as:1745 Highway 53 NEVADARosston, ARHere's where it gets "creepy."Go to Google Maps and put in the Control Point address. Look at the sign at the side of the road. It says "WLO Radio."Here's what I think. The U.S. Government (C.I.A. maybe) bought those unused radio facilities and licenses. They are operating clandistine comms using those systems. What do you think? I am still investigating, I'll let you know if I have any ideas. I MIGHT just send them a resume, just to see if there is any response. I doubt it.Sent with Proton Mail secure email.

I find it odd and someone unbelievable that someone could afford all of this infrastructure to provide HF comms to business and government entities on a contingency basis. How are they making money?
The company received a waiver for these stations to operate Part 80 stations for both marine and land mobile use.I wonder if it's part of this trend to do financial trades over HF.Jeremy
