I am now pleased to say (and many thanks to John G4RDC for sorting this out) that we are now able to resume construction group meetings in the upstairs room at the RRFC, Sonning again this Thursday 2nd October.

We will begin at 20:00 and the room is booked until 22:00.
The bar is open for the whole evening.

Please bring along any projects/items of interest for us to look at.

For those who have maybe not been before the address is

That's great it's good to have a venue so easy to get to, and a bar also, I'll need to constrain my drinking a bit . ... Humm errr; I now have a lead to program my Yaesu ft-65 and want a little help with that please , Chris has been helping me and he's help has been v valuable.    Julian  (call sign Midnight Train......)
May be use chirp or maybe Yaesu programming software  .....??

Jen/All,

I wouldn't count on the Wifi being there due to the level of work that's gone on at the rugby club. It's possible...

This first visit since the spring will be something of a voyage of exploration...

Suggest you don’t use Chirp as it has been spoken about BRICKING Yaesu radios… use the free Yaesu one or RT Systems which you have to pay for.

Check that Chirp runs and opens on your PC.

We wont need a WiFi connection to do the programming.
