I have a load of VHS tapes from Brenda (Peters G8FRC Widow) and I wondered if any of the club members had a machine collecting dust so I can move the memories that he shot ove to digital.

I'll even try a VHS player on to the PC.

Been on must list of jobs and finally started to look at it.

Can you help.

Hi Min, I have a gadget that interfaces between video recorder and computer(DVD). Unfortunately my old VHS recorder is sick.

Hi All

I have successfully converted a load of Pete's G8FRG video over to DVD for Brenda and I still have to deal with the Hi8 tapes.......
At the end of a RADARC meeting 2002 I found this Home Counties  ATV News Broadcast done by Tony G1HBD and includes loads of members.. Sadly some not with us now.

With an Hi8 recorder I can convert the other tapes for Brenda and RADARC.

Hi All,

I have been sorting out my workshop and have found some hardware for transferring between video players and PCs.  It comprises a USB thingy and some leads and connectors.  I have never used it because the clowns that posted to me it put an unsleeved mini CD with the software in the jiffy bag with the hardware bits and it got squashed in the post.  Ebay have failed to get the supplier to replace either the mini CD or the whole caboodle.

Do any of you have a copy of the software for the device?  It is labelled honestech VHS to DVD 3.0 installation.  The hardware is EasyCap.

I have Googled for a download put didn't find anything.

Thanks,

Andrew m0uda.

ps I think I still have a working VHS player.........
