Hi Team,

As part of our upgrade from RabbitMQ 3.6 version to 3.11 (installed a new version on the new server) , we tried to export definitions from the Management Console of 3.6 version and tried to import the same into the management console of the 3.11 version. Despite the import json file having all the details, it has only imported the users and permissions. Not the exchanges or queues or events.

Any insights into how to successfully import without having to manually do it would be greatly appreciated!

Many THanks!
LP

Hello,

Could you please provide a definitions file exported from your 3.6 system that exhibits this issue? That way we don't have to guess how to reproduce the issue.

Thanks,
Luke

Hello Luke,

Thank you. Problem resolved after trying again. This time RabbitMQ services were stopped and restarted.

Thank You & Best Regards,
Lulu Paul
