Compatibility between RabbitMQ Version and .net client nuget package version

Hello,

We use RabbitMQ 3.6.1 and .net RabbitMQ.Client nuget package version 4.1.0. We are in process of upgrade of RabbitMQ to its latest version 3.11.4. I want to know which .net client nuget package version would be compatible with it. I don't find this information on Nuget package or RabbitMQ website. 

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

The compatibility layer is at the protocol level and AMQP 0.9.1 is not changing. That's why we don't document client-server version compatibility - it should be pretty much any-any.

Having said that, I'd highly recommend to also upgrade your client library and to validate that your app works correctly before upgrading your prod env.
