Hi,
Could you please help here, have mistakenly deleted the folders under mnesia path where it holds user details and cluster info, plugins details and queue details. After starting rabbitmq it has automatically created the folders but with default configuration We have restored it by creating user  again made them in cluster and created all queues, exchanges, enabled the plugins again. will it have any impact on if any as we are not sure what and all got deleted and effected.

You've lost all the messages, if there were any in the queues. Other than that, if you recreated all the metadata, I think you are good.

Best,

`rabbitmqctl export_definitions` will give you a JSON with the current metadata. You will see, potentially empty, sections for other types of metadata.

The command was there even in the dark ages of 3.7.
Anyway, there are other ways to do that: https://www.rabbitmq.com/definitions.html

Hi Michal,

We are using 3.7.9 version most probably we will upgrade to latest version soon, i hope the command you shared is not working. is there any other way we can validate.

Command 'export_definitions' not found.

Usage:
rabbitmqctl [-n <node>] [-l] [-q] <command> [<command options>]

General options:
    -n node
    -q quiet
    -l longnames
