Hi,

I've installed RabbitMQ server 3.6.6 and is using RabbitMQ .Net Client 4.0 currently for my application. There came up a new business case where I need to use TPL libraries for Queue consumers.

I've found that starting with RabbitMQ .Net 5.0 client Async Consumer are being supported. This is exactly what I want. Should I update my RabbitMQ Servers to be compatible with .Net Client 5.0 or will this work without the server upgradation. I can't really go ahead and update the server at moment because of the impact in production release cycle & scope of testing requeired. Could you help me with this & also could you provide me the compatatblitly list b/w RabbitMQ server version & RabbitMQ .Net Client Version.

Looking forward hearing from you.

Thanks & Regards
Rahul S

Hi

You should migrate the servers to the latest versions, currently it's rabbitmq 3.8.5 and erlang OTP 23.

Your version 3.6.6 is far away out of  support.

Thanks.
