I just downloaded and installed QZ print on Windows 10. When I open the test html I get a message referring to an error in connection, developer console shows the message in the title. I've tried running the example on google Chrome, Edge and Internet Explorer. I was wondering if anyone new what could be missing or going wrong.
Thanks

That message should be specific to IE11 and Edge, Chrome and Firefox should be fine.

We actually started to write a workaround for this issue today.  Here is the workaround:

Hi Tres

The message I'm receiving in Chrome is "WebSocket connection to 'ws://localhost:8182/' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED". I still cannnot get it to connect

Jessy,

Thanks for the feedback.  This conversation is pretty old (2016) so whatever error that OP was having is likely to be resolved by now.

If anyone has a similar issue, I invite you to start a new email thread and we'd be happy to fix it.  HTTPS can be tricky to get right.  We try to accommodate all system and browser combinations and 2.1 makes this even better by adding support for Firefox Nightly, Seamonkey, PaleMoon and many other browser combinations that were not possible in the 2.0 version.
