Hi support,

 

Currently my customer is using  QZTray and connecting to DHL API to retrieve the Raw data for the shipping label. However it seems like it doesn’t work well with my driver. Can you advise is there a way to convert the Raw data into a picture or another format like pdf or words before it reaches my printer driver which can handle any file.

 

Customer is using a Domino M-Series M230i.

Thank you for getting back to us so fast!

 

Please find the contents of the label attached, encoded as base64 - this is exactly how the data is returned from DHL. We then tell QZTray to decode and print straight to the driver.

 

Please let us know if more information is required and I will get back to you when possible as I am currently on annual leave.

QZTray is sending RAW format to the printer correctly, as it does to all other label printers at Photobook.  We can see in the logs that it is arriving correctly and the printer is rejecting it because the driver does not know how to handle RAW.

 

We need an updated driver that knows how to print RAW format and then the solution will work as expected.

Hi Mr Samson,

 

Are you using QZTray for the printing ? I believe there is something to do with the setting which you might get help from their forum or community if you post your problem there.  You may also send some screen shot of your setting and explain how you set it up and maybe I will help to follow the thread that you posted and see if we can find a solution together with the developer of QZTray.

Jason,

The attached label is formatted EPL.

We're not aware of a conversion from EPL to PDF, but labelary.com is the website to reach out to, they will most likely know if one exists.

I've looked at Domino's website and they do not mention EPL.

I've found some documentation that mentions ZPL, which you may find compatible.  For language compatibility you should reach out to Domino directly, they should be able to tell you.  Please share your findings with this thread so that we can also learn.
