H, How are you?
I am integrating the qz printer into my e-commerce ordering system.
But I have some issues and questions of printing the context with styling... like border, font size, etc...
As the printing content will be changed dynamically according to the order, we can't make a static html, or pdf file.
Now, I am able to print the normal order contents using Raw Printing Generic.
But I can't make some texts to bold and bigger size.
My printer is "Star TSP143IIIU"
Thanks.

The text style will be limited to the raw language you're using with this printer. The Star TSP143 can emulate Star Line Mode or ESC/POS with the Windows driver. Please let me know if you have any difficulty switching between languages. I have a TSP100III (almost identical to your printer), and I'm familiar with the process.

Programming manuals for these languages explain how to manipulate text and their respective fonts, but these languages are limited.

We offer a guide for ESC/POS printing functions as well:

Lorenzo:

Almost any ESC/POS compatible printer will work on MacOS, with the exceptions being the Star TSP100 and TSP 143 models. We test against the Epson TM-T88 series, the Citizen CBM 1000, Fukun POS 80, and others.

Thanks for the support on the issues, we may have some clients that would use Mac OS and we would like to provide a solution or printer that would work.  Do you know of any make of printer, including epson, star etc that would work for Mac OS using Qz Tray

Unfortunately, no. The Start TSP 100 and TSP 143 printers do not work with ESC/POS or Star Line Mode raw markup commands when used in MacOS. These are raster-only printers, and they depend on the Windows driver to emulate the processing of such commands.

Many other Star thermal receipt printers will work, but the 100 and 143 do not.

Thanks for your response.

ESC/POS language does work on Mac OS?

If the printer connected to Mac OS, it still works?
