Good afternoon Jim,

We encourage our Lionhearts families to join QCW. In some cases, there are more than 2 members in the family who participate in events. This may be 1 parent and multiple children OR 2 parents and multiple children.

Under your proposal, I’m reading this as though these families would have to acquire multiple family memberships. Is there an age limit (U-18 included) or am I interpreting this correctly with multiple membership requirements correctly?

Do you have an analysis of how many members this may affect?

Thank you,
Matt Stierwalt

Hi Matt,

Thanks, for your question.

Under the current membership options, QCW already has the 2 people per a family membership limit and tat doesn't change with this proposal.  The proposed change is just a price increase of $5 for a single membership and $10 for Family membership to help cover in part, the club's increased operational costs due to inflation.  All of our members under the age 23 are currently registered as Juniors taking advantage of the lower Junior membership fee of $15 / person.  All of our members taking advantage of the Family membership are couples/partners

Hope this helps, please let me/us know if you have other questions or comments / concerns.

Thanks, Steve Rode

Shouldn't a family membership include the whole family? I see a limit of 2 people. That's not a family membership but a discount for 2 people. Family is meant to include your offspring in unlimited numbers. Just my two cents.
