4.0rc3 Install w/ NVIDIA

Hi all. I just installed rc3 on my Alienware 15 R3. Everything seemed to go okay, but when I rebooted following install, after Bios I just got a black screen with a blinking cursor. I tried putting in my LUKS pw since I read that possibly the prompt just wasn’t showing but no go. I also tried 3.2 and got the same result. This laptop looks pretty good on the HCL, but my version is running a G-Sync display, so my understanding is the integrated graphics are completely unavailable and everything goes thru my NVIDIA 1060.

Any suggestions? I’ve read the Qubes NVIDIA support but this problem seems a bit different than the scenarios described there.
