I have a Dell Precision 5530 with an i7-8850 and NVidia Quadro P2000. The hard drive is a Class 40 M.2.

My issue is that after installing Qubes OS on my laptop the OS does not appear when booting. The message I get is "No bootable devices found".

I have tried both the automatic formatting of the drive as well as several custom configurations.

There is no other OS on the hard drive.

The 5530 does not allow legacy boot from internal hard drives. I have a 5530 with similar specs. I can install from legacy mode off a USB to the hard drive, but once I restart it wont boot. You MUST install from UEFI as far as I know. A few people have gotten it to work but I have not gotten the installer to run so far. There is another thread with details on how to make it work. Search for precision 5520 in qubes-users and read that thread.

Thank you, I'll check it out.
