Qubes macbook 2017 (MNYG2LL) question (did anyone get qubes off the ground on that machine)?

Hi!
I'm considering a 16 GB RAM (It's an option now) 2017 retina macbook as a portable qubes machine now

However, it does not appear to be in HCL

Anyone tried getting qubes on it?
What issues can one expect?

Posted this at qubes-devel first, but the question seems to have vanished... well, maybe HCL/compatibility questions are indeed best asked here...
