Seamless mode off causes full screen HVM?

Why?

Why can't I resize the desktop within to be what I want it to be?
Why do I have to have it full screen where I can't see the
start menu for Windows?

Is this a bug? Or is this an ongoing issue?

Will you enable the screens instead of having just 1?
Will you allow the screens to be turned on as to allow the remote
software to show the contents of the screen instead of just a
white blank screen?

When can these things be fixed /  changed?
Is there a way for me to change it my end using a simple command for windows AND linux (Fedora / Debian / WhoNix / etc..) ?

With seamless mode off in a Windows HVM, you should be able to change
the window size by changing the resolution from within Windows.

Hi andrew,

I have the same issue, and no, I only get the main resolution AND 800x600.
I change to 800x600 and it just reverts back to the original it was, full-screen.
And it then asks me if the changes I made I want to revert or save.

There are several things wrong with Qubes Windows Tools, and this is just one.

In Qubes 2R2, everything worked fine, and worked the way you say it should, I could resize at will, even in non-seamless move using the Qubes Video Driver.
If I used the Standard Video, then I could still do the same thing. But that involved me loading into safe mode, enabling the Standard Video, and disabling the Qubes Video.
But either way, it used to work.

They need to fix certain issues with Qubes-Windows-Tools, and they should have done it in version 3.0. They should have listenned.
