For those who have a KCMA-D8 or KGPE-D16 mainboard running Coreboot with
a SeaBIOS payload, have you been able to get Qubes 4 running with a PCI
video card?

I'm able to get it running with onboard video but not with an AMD PCI
graphics card.

Was curious if anyone has been successful with Qubes 4 with any PCI
card? If so, did you make any manual adjustments to how Qubes boots to
allow the PCI card to work?

The same card works fine with Qubes if the proprietary bios is used.

Thanks.

FYI, for anyone who runs across this issue with getting a PCI graphics
card to work with a SeaBIOS payload, try disabling the onboard video via
the VGA jumper on the motherboard.

By physically disabling the onboard VGA via the jumper setting, I was
able to get Qubes 4 to boot with the PCI card via Coreboot/SeaBIOS.

You can also change this behavior in coreboot menuconfig to have the
PCI-e video card set as the primary video adapter.

Using fancontrol/pwmconfig OR the installation of the OpenBMC port on an
ASMB4 or ASMB5 module is required for fan control. The KGPE-D16 is very
similar so I suggest anyone who has a D8 to read the D16 wiki page.
