Hi,

I am using a Debian template for my userlevel domains. I started with the standard Debian-9 template and have added a few things but not removed anything.

Fedora remains the template for sys-* and it I am running rR4.0

I installed thunar as the file manager, thinking this would be a good match for the XFCE display provided by dom0.

Everything has been recently updated.

I am puzzled why I do not get an option to copy or move to another VM in the thunar context menu when I right click on a file.

Do I need to install a little more qubes magic glue in my Debian template, or is it simply not possible to get this feature working in thunar?

River~~

Hey,
Qubes' extensions are for nautilus.

See https://groups.google.com/d/msg/qubes-users/LtkFGe9AE_E/AFLZc0k2CgAJ

(`apt-get install nautilus` and you should be fine)

Certainly it works OK in Nautilus.

Thunar is smaller, and I was wondering if it could be made to work with that. I think you are implying "no it can't".

For some reason, on the same VM, thunar is slower than nautilus -- I was expecting the same speed or faster. That in itself is another reason to to stay with the Qubes official recommendation
