I am having issues installing qube os on my pc. I am getting a 'Failed to add slave nvidia_fbalaface of deice nvidia_fbalafce' which I assume is an issue with my 570 gtx graphics card. Any ways around this?

does a regular fedora 23 installation work?
actually that card should work, not sure what your issue is. Is that error message after installing, or during the install.
This is an error message right before the install begins. My specs are:
Asus p8z68 pro
NVIDIA 570 GTX
Linksys wireless card that I don't really use.
Sandy bridge CPU
Samsung SSD
I am guessing if it's not the graphics card then it should be the motherboard. I don't see this specific board on the compatibility chart.(https://www.qubes-os.org/hcl/) Has anyone got it to work on this board?
I think your right, upon searching that model board other people have had issues booting even a baremetal linux boot usb. But they are years old I would think the issues would be fixed. Thats why I suggested test booting a fedora 23 iso on usb to narrow it down to a qubes specific issue.
do u have more then one video card installed? try installing with onboard gpu and disable the nvidia one in the bios for now if you can.
I removed the GPU and it's now using the intel integrated graphics. I've gotten past the initial boot-to-install screen and now it's stuck at the instation summary page with "blivet.errors.devicetreeerror:failed to add slave nvidia_fbalafce of device nviida_fbalafce1" error. Any ideas?
