How do I move files between qubes? Why has my computer gotten slow as molasses?

The relevant video from the qubes-os.org website is not working.

Also, I just installed Qubes yesterday and my computer has been sometimes getting slow as molasses. Also, it sometimes won't finish shutting down. What is going on?

Ok. Never mind the first question. I was misunderstanding how the links to sections of the overview video were working. But the second question, about my computer suddenly becoming slow as molasses with qubes is proper. What is going on?
