Hi,
I have just instaled a win7template and created an appvm "win7apps". I am able to run in seamless mode but in the appvm windows always tell me that "in order to apply some changes I need to reboot" and then ask me if I want to reboot now or later.

If I run the templatevm windows don't ask to reboot, is normal? Can I ignore this message?

This can be safely ignored, yes.

I'm not exactly sure what triggers it, I'll look into it when I come
around to tuning other template stuff (like disabling unneeded
services etc).

fteste,

I too have noticed this issue, and I found that it's only due to the way the AppVM relates to the HVM Template.

Since there are changes that are made each time the AppVM starts, not major, it causes it to require a restart, as Windows requires a restart for anything that changes.
It can be ignored and you don't have to tell it to restart.

Sincerely,
Drew.
