Hello,

As suggested by the doc i should use this commands after first boot:

$ sudo qubes-dom0-update --enablerepo=qubes-templates-community --action=upgrade qubes-template-whonix-gw-14
$ sudo qubes-dom0-update --enablerepo=qubes-templates-community --action=upgrade qubes-template-whonix-ws-14

both of them are not working because the system tries to backup the vm's, and the backup name is to long.

qubes update gui cant upgrade ether, i guess its for the same reason.

Myros:
Which documentation are you following?

Workarounds would be to upgrade Whonix from 14 to 15 per the docs on
their site, or to use Qubes 4.0.2rc2 which comes with upgraded Whonix
templates.

Myros:
No, that won't get your templates upgraded. If you don't want to
reinstall, the Whonix upgrade isn't too bad. See
https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Qubes/Install.
