How can I install the driver for Broadcom BCM4312 in Qubes?
Difficult to install in dom0 because of no connectivty. Installing in a Template VM not working; possibly the dom0 driver ssb is overriding the Broadcom driver.
There is documentation about this online but it is old, sometimes obsolete and generally confusing. A clear, up-to-date explanation would be great.

You should not install the network device in dom0; you should install it

in the netvm.
Long story short: try to install your drivers in the template you use
for your netvm...

Correct. I'm not sure about Broadcom (which historically has been highly
problematic on Qubes), but with a lot of Wi-Fi devices, your best bet is
to search with `dnf search <model-number>` and install the appropriate
package from the repo of your NetVM template's distro, if available.
