Looking for a video card that is compatible with Qubes 4.
I have read that ATI Radeon is the best choice.
Does anyone have an advice, current model ATI Radeon?
Preferably a video card that is recognized by Qubes, without hassle.
I have a budget of 100 to 150 euros.

Many thanks!

why do you want one? The iGPU included in the i5-7500 should work fine too. That said, any rx 460, RX 550, RX 560, or RX 570 4gb should do the trick.

Thank you for this clarification.
I would like to do some light CAD and photoshop work, if possible.
I had already seen messages about integrating drivers into the kernel.
But that may be a bit too much for me as a layman.
I work in construction and not in ICT, but I am interested.
So these “rx 460, RX 550, RX 560, or RX 570 4gb” will work out of the box even without installing a driver?
Bedankt/ tankje jo/ Many thanks!

That is correct, there should be no special driver installation needed
for those. Due to the nature of Qubes up to this point, you'll only get
some 2D acceleration from them. They won't be much faster than the Intel
iGPU, so try that first before buying a new card. By "light CAD and
photoshop work", it sounds like your primary applications are Windows
based? You'll get the most benefit from Qubes' security features if you
are able to switch to Linux replacements.
