Disk quota exceeded (when installing templates)

hi.
when using salt to install templates, i came across this error:

Sending application list and icons to dom0
Complete!
The downloaded packages were saved in cache until the next successful transaction.
You can remove cached packages by executing 'dnf clean packages'.
qfile-agent: Fatal error: File copy: Disk quota exceeded; Last file: qubes-template-whonix-gw-3.0.6-201612182342.noarch.rpm (error type: Disk quota exceeded)
'/usr/lib/qubes/qrexec-client-vm dom0 qubes.ReceiveUpdates /usr/lib/qubes/qfile-agent /var/lib/qubes/dom0-updates/packages/*.rpm' failed with exit code 1!

how can i prevent this from happening? (i install templates one by one)
currently i have a state shutting down my updatevm after each installation.
Is there some better way?

I found increasing the disk size of firewall VM used for updating allowed me to update Fedora 25. This can maybe work for your problem to update Whonix GW.
