Problems with first time setup

Qubes OS ver. 4.0.1

Laptop: HP Pavilion x360 Convertible (i5 6022 - RAM 16GB - SSD 512GB)

Hi,

Trying to install for the first time Qubes 4.0.1 on an HP laptop.

Disabled UEFI on BIOS, booting from an USB stick.

I see ACPI messages, the Q logo screen, then "Starting installer...." message and then a grey screen and installer get stucked there...

I've been looking at https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/uefi-troubleshooting/ page but it seems a bit difficult to setup...

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Hi again,

In the initial Qubes boot screen instead of selecting "Install Qubes", if I select "Test this media & install Qubes", installer goes on until the first screenshot ("Language selection") and it stucks there....

Any advice?

SOLVED!

The problem was that instead of using Linux dd comand, I used BalenaEtcher in Windows. 

Now with dd, everything is fine!!
