Qubes 4.0+Electrum Wallet

Hey Community users,

iam a new Qubes User and i tried to install the Bitcoin Electrum Wallet.

The Wallet i installed on the Vm Domain Work sucessfully. In the Qubes settings I also installed the software bundle. The wallet would be marked as installed there. Unfortunately, when I click on the button Launch, Electrum does not open. Also a remove is not possible.

What iam doing wrong?

Heho,

i try to install Electrum on my Domain:personal and also on the Domain:work.

I added on the Qubes settings the Terminal and software tool.

The Electrum istallation was successfully and i can see the Wallet. If i clicked on it and try to launch it, nothing happend.

Where i can see, that i use the fedora template?

You should install it on your template. I am not sure what exactly
method did you use, but it is likely to get lost on reboot.

Since electrum is officially distributed by both Fedora/Debian it's
safe to install it on the template, unless you want to hide it from
other AppVM's (the electrum binary, not your wallets/priv keys etc..
which are already hidden).

Also I suggest you to use 'vault' for a cold storage system:
https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/split-bitcoin/

Here suggests to use a new template and a new offline VM, but I think
that using vault is nearly the same.
