I am trying to create a Win7 qube with the latest version(4.0rc2). I create the qube with the following command:
'qvm-create win7 --label green'
and start the qube with the command:
'qvm-start win7 --cdrom=[qube-name]/home/user/Downloads/[File]'

Nothing happens. How do I go about creating a Win7 qube with the latest version?

you need to specify you want to create a template or standalone VM, by adding --class TemplateVM/StandaloneVM while creating the VM.
try running "qvm-prefs win7 kernel ''" after doing so, then booting.

It's now booting. When it get's to the blue Windows 7 install screen, it crashes. Have you gotten past this?

After tinkering with the memory and hard drive allocation I got it to work. Thank you.

The windows tools aren't in the repository. Are they available for q4? Is there a place where I can manually download the windows-tools-iso?

Even if you're able to install it, it doesn't work. I tried restoring a backup
of a Win7 VM that I had been using in Qubes 3.2, and while it starts correctly
the VM crashes within seconds.

I'm suspecting it happens when the Windows VM attempts to communicate over the
network. But I have nothing more than circumstantial evidence to that fact.
