The Software app in my Fedora template on Qubes 4.0.3 tells me that Fedora 30 has reached EOL and that I should upgrade to Fedora 32.  Should I go ahead and do this, wait until Qubes "tells me to do it"???

Many thanks.

I'll take that as a "No" then!  If I don't upgrade to Fedora 31 now, will I beable to go straight to Fedors 32 when it's available, or can't you "jump" a release?

Thanks

I am at Fedora 32 for Template VM, everything run fine. You just have to install the templates, updates them, install your app and adjust your app-vm.

Enjoy

Just a side-note:
Tor browser 9.5 suggests ".onion available", but when clicking on it,
you end up on a different page. Is that intended?

I see the same. If you say yes you get the start page of the Qubes OS
website on the .onion URL instead of the page you navigated too.

But this really is a TorBrowser issue not a Qubes issue. I figure this
will annoy a lot more people and it's safe just to wait for the next
release.

You can! I always wait for a news on the Qbs news blog, when they announce a new template is ready (for download). Then I'll download and run it beside the old one - changing it on all VMs later VM by VM.
...and so on with the next version...

Or if you can live with a little older but more stable software
versions, you can switch to the Debian template. The Fedora release
cycle gets a bit annoying for some ...

I see the same. If you say yes you get the start page of the Qubes OS

It's not a Tor Browser error, it looks merely like a misconfiguration (or a side-effect of a decision, see below). The Onion-Location is being set in the 'meta' tag of the HTML source, but it lacks the request URI on the end.

That's probably because the site is hosted at Github and so there is no control over the vhost configuration, so it was done in the meta tag, but apparently not as a 'dynamic' link per page, just a static link in a header template.

Maybe there's a dynamic variable for injecting the permalink into this tag?

I bet you something like this would work (the variable is already used for the 'canonical' link tag):

<meta http-equiv="onion-location" content="http://qubesosfasa4zl44o4tws22di6kepyzfeqv3tg4e3ztknltfxqrymdad.onion{{ page.url }}" />
