tor browser consumes a lot of CPU

Hi!
I experience the problem that starting the tor firefox (process firefox-real according to top) in whonix (whonix-ws-15-dvm) it starts consuming a lot of CPU without navigating to any URL, just showing the first welcome side, after approximatelly 5 mins. This continues until closing the dvm.
Any ideas?
