I was successfull in my install of a Debian application and know the particulars. If I have something like

libdb5.3++-dev

or something like

libssl-dev

Is there a reliable source to find the yum equivilant so I can build the same app in Fedora?

I appreciate any assistance. Have a good day.

Not really any source that describes a one to one mapping. You can use
"dnf search" to search for packages or your favorite web search.
Alternatively, sometimes you can try to build things and it will fail
and tell you what's missing.

I thought so because Fedora seems tricker to compile even if you know how to do it on another distribution. But I will try that command and see how it works! Thank you :)
