Preinstallation

hello,

a Buddy of mine asked me to do him a preinstallation on a Computer he got from me.However, i have Qubes so far only installed the "normal" way, how do i do a preinstallation, since i cant add any encryptionpasswords etc?

Anyone? There has to be some way,since the Librem 13 came with a preinstallation of Qubes, didnt he?

I don't think it did - all they did was provide a Qubes instal media, I
think.
I'm not clear on what your question is - if I buy a computer with an OS
preinstalled, then the OEM has installed the OS for me. Does your friend
want you to install Qubes for her?

Yes exactly, he wanted me to install it in OEM mode like it it possible with mint, where the costumer only has to specify his passwords with his first boot and thats it.I simply installed it now and will show him how to change the password /delete the old key(he is scared by the use of a terminal, so i thought maybe there is a way to avoid this)

It would be good to have this, but it isnt currently possible.
I've provided a short script in the past to prompt for new password and
then effect the change. You might like to do this rather than showing
how to use the terminal.

Write it youself. :-)
A quick alternative would be to create a launcher on the desktop - (Right
click - Create Launcher)
Name - Change
Command - passwd

Select "Run in terminal"

Change permissions to make it executable.
Have your friend double click on icon and change password.
Delete when done.
