Pop-up menus and workspaces

Hi all,

I recently noticed some strange behaviour on my qubes install, related
to “pop-up menus.” To reproduce the issue I encountered, it's enough to
right-click on a window opened in an AppVM, notice the pop-up menu
opening, then change workspace, and notice the pop-up menu is still there.

This wouldn't have bothered me, if in my recent windows VM installation
there weren't some windows that acted like pop-up menus (ie. same border
and same on-top-on-all-workspaces behaviour). Especially given this is
the window of an application I often use, and thus it blocks a quite big
part of all my workspaces.

Did anyone already hit this issue? Is there some workaround, like
setting some X11 property, so that these “pop-up-menu-like” windows
don't use space on all workspaces?
