Win7 ...needs qrexec agent installed in VM

Hello,

if I like to start the Win-Explorer in the seamless mode:

qvm-run -a Win7 explorer.exe

I run into this error:

Needs qrexec agent installed in VM to use this function.

QWT are installed, but perhaps it is not working well.

How I can use the QW-seamless mode to run Windows Application "on Q"?

Once QWT was installed, the next reboot or two takes longer to finalise all the qubes settings and transfer user folders etc.

I was getting stuck here again and again until I realised I'd been overlooking this step (in Dom0) from the windows appvm guide. 
   qvm-prefs -s <vm-name> qrexec_timeout 300

Perhaps yours is the same problem that qrexec is never successfully initialised in time?

Hello Ben Wika,

yes the installation of the QWT drivers worked much better inside the Win7VM with this timeout parameter.
